My husband and I dined at Moondyne Joe's. The hotel is welcoming and comfortable. The choice of food is comprehensive enough to please everyone including the kids. I had the barramundi with prawns and mash. Delicious! My husband had a pizza which he said was really tasty. The surprise of the night was how reasonable the price of the drinks were. The clincher though were the girls that served us. Both of them were so helpful and friendly. A real bonus for the hotel. We will definitely go back.

Beers on tap are pretty average, staff are pretty clueless, and the one great area (cosy sofas by the fire) has sadly now gone. I'd love to like this place, as old school pubs are fab, but unfortunately, this misses the mark. If you like a TAB, you're in luck though (every cloud...)

The service has always been outstanding. It is a great relaxing pub especially in the winter when the wood fire is going. Good food and great staff. What more can you ask for?
