Moopy's Bay - Table reservation

I was recommended this by locals, and I wonder now if that was a joke. It may be different other times of the year, but the fact that before we could drink/eat there were flies all over our drinks and food was horrible. Our waitress was lovely, she was trying her best and we felt bad for her as she was working in a place that didn't deserve such good staff. Can't comment on the food as none of us really touched it, had to make dinner at home instead after paying an expensive bill for nothing.

We were staying in a rented house 20 minutes from Parthenay so were relieved to find Moopy's open on a Sunday night. The food was very good, pizza, hamburgers and chicken wings to die for. We wanted takeaway and the staff were very accomodating although busy with the restaraunt itself. We went back again another night as everyone enjoyed the food.

My son says the Monkey burger was “bangin”!!(really good). The chicken pick up was tasty and the Louie Armstrong was full of chicken and bacon. We all enjoyed our meal and all went for an ice cream dessert which didn’t fail. The downside to the restaurant was the heat!! There was air conditioning units on the ceiling but not in use.

Good food in pleasant surroundings with good service. Excellent range of pizzas, burgers and pasta. Beers and wines available

Maybe we just chose the wrong menu item but have been disappointed twice. Nice ambiance, in or out, bustling restaurant.
