Visited Moopy's many times whilst staying at our house nearby. It is open all year round and even on a Sunday night (fom7pm) when it is impossible to find anything open!!! Get there early as it often gets busy. Enjoy fresh salads, unusual dishes like Toast Louis Armstiong which is a delicious creamy mushroom on toast and a wide variety of pasta, meats, burgers. Lots of choice, quick service and good selection for the children too. It has been the same staff ever since we first visited and they are always friendly and helpful. Very reasonable price and delicious food, our kids always ask which night we are going to Moopy's!
I was recommended this by locals, and I wonder now if that was a joke. It may be different other times of the year, but the fact that before we could drink/eat there were flies all over our drinks and food was horrible. Our waitress...was lovely, she was trying her best and we felt bad for her as she was working in a place that didn't deserve such good staff. Can't comment on the food as none of us really touched it, had to make dinner at home instead after paying an expensive bill for nothing.
Moopy's is a solid restaurant, what makes it special is the lady that runs the front of house does so amazingly, all by herself it would seem! She is always charming, efficient and so organised! It's not haute cuisine, but it IS very yummy and filling! Great for kids too and plenty of choice for veggies which makes a nice change : perfect if it gets late in the day and you can't face cooking!
Have been here several times over the last years. Good food; on this occasion, burgers and chips, neopolitan pizza, a partially American menu. Wine by the glass over priced but good service and a pleasant enough atmosphere.

Relaxed atmosphere, great service, and good menu. Black pudding was excellent and gorgeous mashed potatoes.. A wonderful place for having good quality food without great expense. Lunchtime or evening a fun place to eat.
Excellent and interesting menu, the prices were reasonable and our waitress was efficient and pleasant. Nathalie at the Hotel St. Jacques recommended Moopy's and she did us a favour by doing so.

Casual restaurant with good selection pizza, pasta, burgers as well as specialities. We enjoy coming here as well the same chain restaurant in Bressuire, which is larger.
