Just wanted to provide an update on my experience at this cafe in 2023. I found the staff to be very pleasant during my visit. This time, we decided to stop in for lunch. My wife ordered a Small Lasagne with garlic bread and a small side salad, which was just the right portion for her. I opted for a Cheese and Ham Toastie since we weren't overly hungry. We also enjoyed two cups of tea. All of the food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I must say, well done to the ladies running the cafe. Just like before, I will definitely be returning in the future.
OK I don't really like people that slate somewhere and also, if you want a decent breakfast, don't go to a Morrisons but we were stuck and starving! Anyway, three of us went for a breakfast on Saturday got all the extras etc.....nice little novel way of ordering, which our 9 year old loved doing. However, the food was really, really unpleasant! I would say though....nice toast and quite like the doing your own drink but then, quite pricey for what it is.
During my time working in Grays, I had breakfast at this restaurant and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the fried bread was delicious, and everything else was very enjoyable. In addition to the traditional cafe, they also have a Barista Bar where the coffee was excellent and reasonably priced. I highly recommend checking it out for both the quality of the food and the affordability.
Had breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised, was lovely. So cheap and food came out quickly. Lady on the till was a but grumpy and short, but for the price, speed and tastyness I didn't mind at all. I had the sample breakfast and fought the protein was just right! My husband had the veggie breakie and said that was nice too! We will definitely come back!

This place has always had a bad rep, but the staff and management have really turned this place around. The food is so much better and fresh and they do a huge range of food in the café. There is lots of seating and its a nice place to just chill and have a bite to eat. Staff are really helpful and friendly and you get some great deals of meals
I have had breakfast at this restaurant multiple times and I have to say, the quality and price are fantastic. The dishes are reasonably priced and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and well-presented meal. I have eaten breakfast at other establishments before, but this was the best.
I have to say that I am a fan of Morrisons breakfasts, particularly their Small Breakfast (previously called Little Breakfast), and today at their Grays store cafe it was simply superb and incredible value. If you've never eaten in a Morrisons cafe, you are missing out, so give it a go; you won't be disappointed.
The Barista bar has just given me the sadest Latte Ive ever had the misfortune to order. A fraction of the cost of Costa coffe but for very good reason. I wont be returning and do not reccomend.
