My friends and I recently did the 'Wharf to Winery' package over the weekend, which included a return paddle steamer cruise to the winery, a choice of two courses (entree, main, or dessert with three options in each section), a glass of wine, beer, or soft drink, and a wine tasting. It was an incredibly good value! Not only were our meals delicious, but the service was outstanding. refined dining room good taste balance without excess As part of a paddle teamer cruise lunch plus glass wein. Entree salt pfeffer calamari on basmati wild rice, coriander and a few other ingredients I can not remember. but it was deliciously refined and very different from the usual pub-type salt pfeffer calamari Main was lammschaft with polnta on a tomato-based purée with kale and brussel spruten: hearty, tasteful, but not too rich, all finished with a glass of the cabin sav. Didn has no time to continue pampering, very pleasantly recommended.
I still dream of the pork I had last year here. the wine tasting was knowledgeable, while the restaurant service was exemplary with great love to detail and only the little extra (like the own recommended way to serve their apple wines) to take it to the top.
We saved the best for last and it did not disappoint. The food and wine were sensational, with an affordable price and a wonderful atmosphere overlooking the Murray River.
