Mourad offers an incredible dining experience with its beautifully crafted dishes and elegant ambiance. The flavors are bold, innovative, and truly showcase the chef’s talent. However, be aware that the portions are on the smaller side, something that may not be immediately obvious if you’re not a foodie familiar with fine dining portions. That said, every bite is a work of art, and the attention to detail makes it well worth the visit. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal, consider ordering multiple courses to fully enjoy the experience.
Neither my friend nor I had ever had Moroccan food before dinner at Mourad last night. What an experience! Our server, Sam, was incredible. He asked took note of our dietary restrictions and then he took care of us from there, suggesting three courses which were all spectacular and then recommending a particular dessert. He also brought us exquisite wine pairings along the way. It was a tremendous introduction to this North African cuisine. I will be back!
Lobster chicken carrots eggs pecans olives lamb couscous kale drinks service wow! Everything was top notch. So good. We had reservations for six on a Thursday at 8:30 and they took us upstairs. The menu was explained and the food started flowing. Good wine selection with a story about the vineyard and farmers in Italy.
Michelin Star Moroccan Cuisine- I think that says it all. A modern interpretation of a cuisine deeply rooted in the past. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in San Francisco ?

Mourad may have lost a star due to service problems during the past couple of years, but the service we had last night could not have been better. The food is better than ever too. The octopus, and eggplant small plates were stellar, as was the seabass. We look forward to our next visit.
Mourad is so, so good. Just incredibly delicious, inventive, exquisite Moroccan food in a beautiful setting.I only have this one photo from my last meal there because I was too obsessed with eating to take photos.My fave fancy date night place in San Francisco by a mile.
This was an easy location to get to and the duck parcel milk bread was amazing. I was under the impression that the chicken would come in a tagine and also come in more of a stew and the cous cous was very basic. The martini also was not cold enough. Overall ok.
This is a lovely restaurant and provides a lovely dining experience. The food was amazing. The staff was gracious and engaging.  Perfect for small groups and big with plenty of room for private parties.

The food was amazing but the service was very slow. It took almost 3.5 hours for the 8 of us to complete our meal. I love Mourad but this time it was so slow I’m a little hesitant to come back next time
The cocktails and appetizers were excellent. The waiter oversold us on how much food we should get, but his service was very professional. Main courses were mediocre for the price
