Nice looking place in hip Bold street. They have several vegetarian options on their menu, hard to choose. I had the paneer, which was the best I ever tasted, and dahl with rhubarb and ginger, an unusual but excellent combination. I also had tea steamed chickpeas, they were not super special, but still good though. They had told me that 3 to 4 dishes were normal for 1 person, but 2 with rice would probably have been sufficient. Really tasty and innovative Indian cuisine. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
We spontaneously visited the Bold St branch and luckily found a table at the bar. The decor, staff, and cocktails were all fantastic. The busy yet relaxed atmosphere was enjoyable. Our waitress remembered our preference for vegan options, which was thoughtful. The menu had a wide variety of delicious options. The street food concept was unique and allowed us to try new dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant and have even visited a Mowgli branch in Manchester for more vegan options.
Okay, it’s quite nice inside, nicely decorated with nice lighting. It is cramped in there though. Service was mediocre at best not too friendly. Separate vegan menu which is good. I chose the ‘chip butty’, the vegan special and some rice. The chip butty was quite nice Patatas Bravas in a wrap. But the big vegan chickpea tomato based chilli curry wasn’t great served in a giant hollowed out piece of white bread. Left a lot to be desired. Wanted to get out in the end to be honest.
Loved it the first visit, liked it the second, started to get bored by the third. Really interesting menu and tasty food. But the menu is very small (and no specials) and based around small tiffin bowls, so when a group of you go and share you run out of options quite quickly. Definitely recommended for a one-off or occasional visit. Sweet and sour puffed rice dish is a revelation, as is the Himalayan chip butty

This place is AMAZING, the food is beautiful, theres loads of it and the beer is also really great! I've been here a few times, and I always get the Rhubarb Dahl and the Calcutta greens, with rice and puris. Such tasty and wholesome food with lots of choices for vegans and vegetarians! Would recommend 100%. Always packed too.
Really tasty vegan food from a separate vegan menu. Lovely, friendly service and atmosphere and the restaurant is designed beautifully with pretty lighting throughout. Deffo recommend
Great that they have a vegan menu. The food was excellent, and the service was good as well. We had the dahl dishes and they were super tasty.
The chat bombs were sick but the recovery was really underwhelming one of the starters was actually just bombay mix with onions and cilantro
