I had a wonderful birthday lunch at Moxie's on Friday with a friend and my mom. We arrived at around 12:30pm and were seated promptly despite the busy dining room. Service was a bit slow at first, but we later learned that there was only one waitress working for the entire area. Fortunately, the General Manager, Tom, was there to assist. He engaged with us, explained menu items, and ensured we were taken care of. Tom was very attentive, making sure all guests were happy and assisting the waitress. The food was delicious - we enjoyed steak salad, cobb salad, and chicken gumbo soup. I received a lovely dessert for my birthday, along with a handwritten card from Tom and free appetizer vouchers....
We frequently visit Moxie's, especially the Yonge and Davis location, multiple times. The servers are consistently polite and attentive. Every person that serves you is exceptionally nice and engages in good conversation with customers. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and is served at the perfect temperature with great presentation. They are also accommodating to special dietary needs. Additionally, they provide crayons and coloring pages for children to keep them entertained. I highly recommend this location to everyone and will be returning soon. We love Moxie's in Newmarket!
We had a fabulous evening. Our food was delicious and our waitress Abbie , couldn't have been more attentive or pleasant. She was very helpful in making suggestions from the menu, after listening to what we were looking for. She came back to check on us numerous times between courses, to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and she continually ensured that our beverages were topped up.
One of the best locations of Moxie's! We've have visited it many-many times in the past 10+ year and never disappointed! The service is excellent and the Chef is A-MA-ZING ! ! ! We Love Moxie's Newmarket !
