Unbelievable, but true!!! We went to our favorite Asians today and found that we are no longer welcome after 13 years of regular membership. We were thrown out. Here comes the reason!!!! Due to inflation we were asked (my daughter 17 years, friend 16 years and I) to leave the locals on site because we are not profitable!!! Mr Cherng was found through Google and Trip Advisor and it was well worth the visit. Located fairly centrally in the inner city and easy to find. The restaurant is very popular and it was my impression that it is stuffed with people at...all times families and larger parties seems to be the norm. To me, it was a bit nostalgic as the talk and noise level reminded me of going out for food in Shanghai and eating at a popular restaurant tons of people talking, laughing and having a good time. I like it in this China restaurant. Mainly because of the food that is very tasty and also quite inexpensive. There are also special all-you-can-eat and lunch table offers. The facility looks modern and is characterized by clear lines. I like to come here, especially as the location is advantageous and also good to reach by metro.
It's a Japanese mix Chinese restaurant. I had their dinner *eat all you can* buffet, was very good. Varieties of sushi, some dim sum, fresh fish meat mussels (to be cooked to your choice of cooking sauce), sweet delicacies and ice cream....Advisable to make a reservation during weekends, it can be quite crowded even on weekdays!
Food was quite fair for the price and considering it's a buffet. There was a variety of meat dishes, not so many vegetarian options. The food quality was okay, nothing too special.
Very sophisticated hygiene concept. Only a limited number of people are allowed in the restaurant and this hygiene concept was also super on the buffet.
