it was a very lively place as the farm show was in the city! the food and the service was good, but I had to ask a few times to get the gluten-free menu and for our waters. the food proportions were not the same compared to other mr. mikes that we were, especially the part of the pommes that were very sparse (a small handful worth). when we brought it to our waitress, she apologized and brought us more pommes. all were super friendly! the staff seemed kind of roaring and a bit chaotic, although due to how busy it was what I understand! we sat near the kitchen and heard that the chef screamed some paints.

I live in Edmonton but have been to Mr. Mike's a few times over the years. The food and service have always been great. On my last visit I was with my elderly parents and the server made a point of seating us in a booth that didn't have a speaker overhead. I will make a point of taking them to Mr. Mike's whenever I'm visiting.

eating came late and cold, server was apologetic when she brought gravy for my wife after she was told she was gf. her steak was cold and my meal was warm, but the koleslawe was buzzing and disgusting. our table was overcrowded against a Christmas tree that went hard.

kayle in red deer at Mr.Mikes was an absolutely amazing server. she was friendly, attentive and fast. she made my man's birthday dinner a wonderful experience! the food was so good! I can't be happier!

steak was excellent. hostess and wait staff were quirky, but fun. interesting experience.
