We had lunch here during our visit in October, 2019 and loved it. It is a small and unassuming restaurant that seemed to have a lot of locals visiting while we were there. The food is traditional and absolutely delicious. Be advised that, like many...places in Germany, they only take cash but don't let that stop you from trying it. We had beef roulade with red cabbage and fried potatoes, small salad which was actually huge and contained olives and pumpkin seeds and had a yogurt garlic dressing, and a pork schnitzel with spaetzle. All of this was very, very good indeed! We would definitely return.
I wanted to try out the rural speciality thinners, so I ordered one with pumpkin. on the plate came something that looked and tasted like a wet dish teppich. the cheese had the same texture as Philadelphia-Creme cheese and the pumpkin pieces were. easy to count. two bites and that was enough for me. when we asked for the bill, the servant did not present us in writing, but he quickly demolished some numbers that were not possible for us to review. we are sure that he has accused us too much in height of 15 euro. never again.
