Just passing through the area and we were looking for a place have a late lunch. The local pubs had close their kitchens, so we thought we would try the Mulberry. So glad we did. The food was excellent. My wife said her Pear, Stilton...and Walnut salad was the best she’s ever had. Their chunky chips are great and the relishes they serve with the relevant dishes are delicious. The service was friendly and the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable.
I had finished a walk in the area and feeling peckish in my way home I decided to stop in at The Mulberry Cafe. What a treat ! The place was buzzing with gentle chatter and my waitress was attentive and friendly. I tucked into...a delicious cheese scone washing it down with a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc. I wondered through the tempting array of plants and garden accessories afterwards, planning my return trip .
we go regularly as it's just a few miles away. fortunately they have such a large garden center and caffe more or less on our doorstep. the personal is excellent, they know us and our dog! there are in the dogs in there. they make a good coffee and I would recommend the freshly pressed orange juice. it is popular so I would suggest to book what is simply done online.
I was surprised how busy this caffe was, but they have a large outdoor area so no problem. again I expected to serve a long waiting period, but my order was soon taken, coffee soon came to wait for my meal with not long....An interesting menu with daily specialties. I will go back Book a table now
Gorgeous place and yummy food but on a warm Easter Saturday when it was very busy I got the feeling the staff were a bit stretched. Lovely though they were it took an hour for our food to come. But it was all delicious and...we will return!
We have been visiting here for several months now and always have a experience. Excellent food, freshly cooked, plenty of choices including a Special each day. Lovely location, atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
Great food, recommend the crayfish. Great friendly staff. Excellent service. Rare to find places that offer good quality Gluten Free options especially fried chunky chips that are not contaminated. Thanks and see you again very soon.

Also the best fruited scones ever! You can tell they are freshly made. Timing to be there is important as it does get busy very quickly
