This was our second visit to this restaurant and it will be our last as well. Firstly, it took about 20 mins to take our order. Our request for table water was ignored 3 times! When the food arrived (1 hour and 20 mins later) it was luke warm and not at all tasty. The lamb was tough and the chicken was stringy. The naan bread never arrived. When the bill came they had charged us for double the quantity of entrees we ordered. When I mentioned this to the owner, he said "well did you eat it all" why didnt you tell me that we bought double the quantity to your table. This use to be a regular for our family, but things have changed. Obviously now very popular for take-away, but unfortunately the dine-in service is a little lacking. Although the meals are quite tasty, they are relatively small in portion size, which is basically a very small bowl. Not nearly enough for one person, so I wouldn't classify it as a meal for the price. From a service point of view, unfortunately the owner doesn't move from his chair and seems content just taking take-away orders, as the dining-in customers seem to take second place. Not quite the place it was before.
My sister and I got takeaway from here. We love Indian and we're excited for our dinner. The food had no flavour at all and even the rice was disgusting. The butter chicken was covered in charcoal and was tough. We do not recommend this place at all and will not return.
We found this place by accident, fell in love instantly. Now we go about once a month when the mood strikes. Service always very good the menu has some great options if you wish to avoid the usual butter chickens etc.

Delicious food, fully BYOB, and wonderful hosts make this restaurant a top choice for anyone craving Indian cuisine. Just don't listen to the waiter when they say that ordering "Indian hot" is too spicy!
I really enjoy the food here. You can take your own wine. I would prefer they bring the bill to the table so I could check it, but that's not how they do it, but it doesn't stop us going there.
This Indian restaurant, which allows you to bring your own alcohol, serves excellent food. It has been a longstanding institution in Caringbah for many years. Treat yourself and give it a try.
This restaurant in the Shire is the best Indian option. The tandoori combination is exceptional. The service is very friendly, and you can bring your own drinks.
