Being Irish, I love to visit Irish pubs while on holiday. This pub was a huge disappointment, my presence was hardly acknowledged by the Barman or the lounge girl. It was the complete opposite of customer service. They were only 2 people including myself waiting...to be served while the barman was making a cocktail and when I attempted to engage the barman, he gave me a scowl!!! A simple, I will be with you in two minutes would have done! A certain level of customer service must be mainted. He would not get away with that in Ireland!
we visited this place twice on our weekend trip to berlin. the first time we sat outside the river to enjoy the weather, and the second time we visited it at night and listened to a great live band that brought the whole pub to dance. good beer, excellent service and a visit worth.
We just went for a drink. The restaurant was quite full and the empty seats were reserved, but the staff tried hard to organize a seat, which went smoothly. A huge compliment from this side to the staff.
Best pub in the middle! Very friendly service. Highlight was my steak, grilled at the table on a layered stone, the hammer! On weekends there is also live music. Come back!
