This afternoon, we placed an online order for pickup at 5:15 PM through MyThai’s website. When we arrived to collect our order at 5:30, it wasn’t ready. After several inquiries, we finally received our food at 6:10, which was nearly an hour late. To make matters worse, at 6:15, we got a call informing us that they had forgotten half of our order, and that it was now available. The apology we received was rather curt, and they informed us they couldn’t offer a discount because the order was processed through a different platform (which then told us they couldn’t provide a discount without the owner’s approval). I ordered the Vegetarian Drunken Noodles for takeout, and I was quite disappointed. There were hardly any noodles in the dish, and the few that were there were very short, as if they were serving the remnants at the end of the night. I decided to call the restaurant to see if I could get some more noodles if I returned. Unfortunately, they told me I would have to pay for a side of noodles. I won't be going back.
First time trying this Thai spot, and I am not disappointed (at all). Panang Curry, Drunken Noodle, Spicy Wings, Pad Phed, BBQ Chicken, and Green Curry Paste Fried Rice (yes, we ordered a lot haha). It was all fresh, delicious, tender meats, well sautéed veggies (not overcooked). All excellent.
I may not have any culinary training or experience, but I know that the most important ingredient in any meal is freshness. My order was straightforward, yet I was amazed by the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant!
