Everything was great overall; however, the samosa wasn't really to my liking. There was nothing wrong with how it was prepared; it just wasn't my personal preference. The shrimp, on the other hand, was excellent—cooked perfectly. But that house-made chili oil is no joke. The dish didn’t mention anything about spice in the description, but it definitely had a kick, haha! The basmati rice was fantastic as well—perfectly cooked with a nice buttery flavor and no excess seasoning, with each grain separate. None of that sticky, gooey, sweet stuff that some places serve.
This is the best Indian food I have ever had! The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the flavors were outstanding. My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant during a weekend getaway, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The service was incredibly warm, and we appreciated their patience as we ordered extra dishes throughout our meal. The cooking staff is exceptional, and no other restaurant comes close. (Trust me, we've tried!)
The restaurant offers excellent food along with great service. I dined in for lunch, and the experience was satisfying. The price per person was over $100. In terms of ratings, I would give the food a 4 out of 5 and the service a 4 out of 5 as well. The atmosphere was decent, earning a rating of 3. I highly recommend trying the Wedding Beef Rejala, Beef Curry with Roasted Potatoes, Naan, Chicken Korma, and Sweet Lassi.
This is the hidden gem of Mystic. All the food is of high quality and the owner Shulie and her husband do an outstanding job taking care of their customers needs. I love their weeding beef rejala, egg drop soup, Asian Curry and chicken shawarma wrap! Outstanding food all around! A must try if your in the area! Food: 5 Service: 5
