Me n my buddy went here for a late lunch around 4-4.30pmIt was buffet and about $30/person.They had chicken, lamb and mutton.Food tasted good, the tandoori chicken tasted amazing, but both of us got severe diarrhea for next 2 days, we had to get medication (loperamide HCL), apparently you cannot take more than 4 pills in 24 hours period but even after taking 4 within 12 hours we still had to go 5-6 times that night. Only water and stomach acids, if you know the Bobby Lee explosive diarrhea episode from Bad Friends podcast where he poops in the back of his Prius. It was similar situation. It was horrible. I was greeted with a rude, loud obnoxious person who wanted me to PAY FIRST (which is fine, but there 's always a courteous way to ask walk-in customers).Anyway, I continued with buffet (average taste), but this dude kept interrupting me with his do you need something, I will make you a tea, how 's the food etc etc). Im surprised that this business is still running with such a service. I tend to tip well, but this time, I decided not to. It also felt like I was subjected to selective treatment due to my ethnicity.There was one couple already raising their eyebrows on what I was facing, but I kept my composure to not to react. I 'm never going to this place again! I 'm utterly disappointed!!
I've eaten here several times and each time the food was fresh and delicious. Vegan options are plentiful more than half the menu. The best Indian I've had in St. Pete yet. The vegan naan is perfect as are the samosas. Every vegan dish I've had here is delicious. And now they have started a buffet and clearly my positive review is embraced by many others as people waiting for the buffet are lined up out the door. All I heard were excellent comments around me about the food. I would give it 5 stars but HappyCow says that 5 stars are reserved for 100% vegan restaurants. Unfortunately both times I've gone here the food I got was subpar. Most recently the sampler platter I ordered was burned and pieces were cold as if it had been sitting all day and then they quickly put it into a fryer or something. I also had to confirm several times that I wanted my food to be completely vegan no dairy or anything. On a vegan Facebook page people said this place was very good so it's unfortunate my experiences have not been great. Maybe I was just unlucky both times I went there. It’s worth noting that I visited a few months ago and specifically inquired about tree nuts in their offerings. The owner assured me that they do not use tree nuts because of allergy concerns. I trusted that this practice was still in place during my recent visit.
If you have dietary restrictions, I strongly advise against coming here. They mislabel their food and do not clearly indicate major allergens on their buffet.
I’ve been hunting for a place that has great vegan Indian food, and this place definitely scratches that itch. Normally an issue with eating vegan at Indian restaurants is the prevalence of ghee, however the stuff here omits that. Lots of good options and really tasty food.

I ordered the biryani and it was the worst I've ever had. I've had biryani from here before and it was amazing, but now it seems the quality is declining.
