The pho broth was a bit lackluster compared to other pho restaurants I’ve tried in downtown Houston. I also ordered a Thai tea, which had a somewhat powdery flavor. On the positive side, the server was friendly and the service was prompt. Overall, having visited numerous pho places in Houston, my experience here was just average. I’m willing to return and potentially reevaluate my rating if the flavors get better in the future.
Nam Mi is a casual spot to grab a quick bite. I tried the pho combo with shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls had a pleasant, springy texture on the rice paper. The pho broth was decent—while it lacked some depth, it was much clearer and cleaner compared to many other places I've visited lately. The staff were friendly, and I’d stop by again if I’m in the neighborhood.
The Ribeye Steak Sandwich is absolutely outstanding—it's sweet and tender, wonderfully paired with fresh vegetables that elevate its flavor! The pho is full of rich taste, and the spring rolls come with your choice of pork, chicken, or shrimp to suit your preferences. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back for more!
This was my first visit to Nam Mi. The restaurant is a bit tucked away and easy to overlook if you're not looking carefully. It's a small, charming spot that wasn’t busy when I was there. Food is always consistent. Pho is NEVER watered down. I normally get their rice bowl with extra meat and it's so filling and worth it! Service is always pleasant. They are so kind and helpful!The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful inside. Always clean as well.
Great lunch spot if you're in a hurry. Haven't tried the pho yet, but I have had the pork and ribeye bahn mi sandwiches... I suggest the pork.
Nam Mi is a favorite spot in Houston. The food is outstanding and the prices are very affordable. The service is top-notch.
