We enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant and found the food to be lightly seasoned, though salt, pepper, and hot sauce are readily available on the table. My waffles were fluffy and tender, while the home fries had a satisfying crispiness. The scrambled eggs were quite generous in portion. Both the coffee and iced tea were fresh and enjoyable. The menu offers good options for both large and small appetites.
Paid almost $70.00 for breakfast for myself (Senior citizen) and 2 grandchildren (6 and 3 years old). Food was not good (pancakes dry and tasteless) and they applied a $1.83 upcharge for paying with a credit card instead of cash (this was on top of my 20% tip and they never indicated the additional charge in advance). I will never dine here again.
I had the crab Benedict and it was drenched in cream. The server came to refill coffee once, when we had just received coffee. When I commented to the server I was told I was wrong he proceeded to argue with me.No apologies, no offer to bring me something else. After 6 years of faithful patronage we will not return.
It's basically a diner. Local restaurant, catering to the nearby 55+ community. Fodd is good, simple, and prices are reasonable. Service us friendly, though usually only 1 or 2 servers, so be patient if it's crowded. Usually you seat yourselves. Delivery is through DoorDash, etc. It's fr I endly and homey. Book a table now
This is one of my Mom's favorite places to go for breakfast. It is familiar, offers basics with specials and is popular with the local community. (Note: they chare a 3% credit card use fee, which stinks!
I think the staff is very pleasant and very accommodating. For a neighborhood restaurant it is a very good choice.
