I used to believe in the hype surrounding Nandos as an amazing fast food chicken chain, but the reality is that it's not much better than Oporto, although their chicken may be slightly superior. I have ordered from this Nandos a few times now and it has been average each time. I understand that my expectations should be lowered with UberEats deliveries, but every time I have ordered, the chips have been delivered cold. The burger was okay, the chicken was fresh and juicy, but I didn't find their hottest chilli sauce to be as spicy as expected. I ordered a whole chicken with large sides and paella, and it was a huge disappointment. We have ordered from and eaten at Nando's a lot, but tonight was terrible. The whole chicken was burned and black in color. If I weren't in quarantine, I would have taken it back and shown it to the owner/manager. It tasted horrible and was a pathetic experience. I feel like they ripped me off. I have pictures available as proof if the store manager wants to see them.
The Nando's restaurant was delicious in all the right ways. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. I ordered a medium-spiced chicken wrap with garlic bread and it was fantastic.
