At first glance, the exterior of the restaurant and the surrounding businesses didn’t look very appealing. However, upon stepping inside, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and cozy the atmosphere was. The menu featured a wide variety of dishes, but I already had my heart set on curry with chicken. They offered five different kinds of curry, which I had never encountered before—I always thought there was just yellow curry (lol). The waiter was very helpful and recommended the red curry, and since I’m a spring roll enthusiast, I couldn’t resist ordering some of those as well!

So this is a mixed review. My wife and I order from Nara Thai about once every 2 weeks. The food is good. Unfortunately, every 3rd or 4th time, they will forget something you ordered rice, appetizer, etc.. . This happened to me tonight where they didn't include the rice for my curry. I called them to let them know of the mistake, and the managers suggestion was for me to drive up to the store and they would give me my rice. So...I had just paid a delivery driver because I didn't want to go out, and her suggestion to resolve the issue of not including my rice was for me to drive up there and then return home to cold food at that point. Food is delish, cleanliness and ambiance was superb. For the good: We had the chicken pad Thai and it was delicious with just the right amount of sweet and great portion, thai cashew with beef, pineapple curry medium heat, miso soup and steam rice, mango sticky rice for dessert. Onto the not so good: we requested steam rice with seaweed on top for my 7 year old daughter. The waitress seemed confused and asked what kind and I said the kind you put on sushi. So she said the dried kind and I said sure, then she scrunched up her face and said we don't do that here. I appreciate the attention to detail in the restaurant's interior. The lighting is especially nice. I noticed you have Wi-Fi access points on the ceiling, which may be intended for payment terminals, but I hope you can offer a guest network as well. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. However, I've been feeling frustrated lately in Houston because almost every Asian restaurant opts for foam containers. I understand that they're cost-effective, but we should also consider our health. Is it really worth it to save 24 cents on a container when the overall bill is $30 to $40?

five stars through eats delivery! we ordered here several times and every time, it was a hit. the food was still warm thanks to eats. we order pad see ew whan or bark meat, orange chicken w rice, crabs and sticky rice w custard. all the food we ordered were tasteful and tasty! we have chosen season level 3, it is the perfect amount of spicy to let their nose run, but still super edible! the sticky rice spicy tastes extremely fresh and not old rice. will finally order from here. nara Thai food anotha thai are my two go to eats restaurants to order from for Thai food in cypress area.
Nara Thai is one of the greatest experiences I have had in the restaurant aspect. They have everything from decoration to amazing customer service, and their food is just amazing. It is made to fit any customers palate and necessities, may that be that they are vegetarian or they can't handle spice. Nara Thai has all the options for any customer, and their twist on decoration and table covers just puts them over the top. It is a great place for all ages, but I believe that kids would enjoy it the most due to their creativity.
My family really liked this place when it was previously called Ano Thai. Even under new management, my kids love their fried rice. But I can't help feeling that their serving sizes have gone slightly smaller whilst the prices have gone up, and they seem to be adding in less protein (eg meat) when you add, say chicken to your fried rice or pad thai. But within the Cypress area, it is still a good Thai restaurant worth a visit.
My fiancée and I visited last week. The restaurant wasn't busy, and there were plenty of staff, but the service was lacking. Once we finally got seated, we were greeted not by a server, but by a large, unpleasant spider. Fantastic. We waited another 15 minutes, and no one came to take our drink order, so we decided to leave. I would much prefer Hanans Café, which is much cleaner and has friendly staff.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant. I ordered yellow curry, but it was extremely spicy. When I mentioned to the waitress that it shouldn't be very spicy, it took over 30 minutes for them to bring my order back—by that time, everyone else had finished their meals. I won't be returning here again.
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and was blown away by how delicious the food is! I had the salma sushi and the quality was incredible. The pad thai was also just perfect.
