I celebrated my husband's birthday here, and from the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service is exceptional, with attentive staff who anticipate your needs without being overbearing. As for the food, it is truly remarkable. Every bite is a delight to the senses. The sushi was fantastic, though I didn't have a chance to snap a photo. Kid-friendliness: they provided a booster seat when my toddler refused to sit in the high chair.
I have no idea if the food is good or not. I ordered basic sushi one hour ago and still haven’t gotten my food. The two very understaffed workers at the sushi bar haven’t stopped moving for a second, but they’re so short staffed it’s ridiculous.*edited to add that once the food did arrive it was quite good the wasabi tobikko was SO good and spicy, but we’ll never dine in again!
To be honest, it doesn't suit Korean tastes well. This may be an error of overgeneralization, but it feels a little off.However, my taste cannot be everything, lol. Other foreigners seemed to enjoy it! Since this is America, we have to follow their tastes. It was never bad or negative.The service and atmosphere are both top-notch.
I'm writing thsi review since I recently have visited my relatives in Forest Hills.Food: I got a salmon teriyaki, yakitori, and miso soup. These were amazing and the salmon almost melted in my mouth. Food and ambiance was great. The server unfortunately was very inattentive. When one of our apps didn't arrive she said she forgot to tell us they ran out of it. We had to ask the bus boy for things our server forgot, like extra sauce on the side, for example. It took forever for us to get the check too.
When it comes to Japanese food Narita is my to go spot in forest hills, never disappoints I highly recommend it. The negimaki with fried rice delish also the teriyaki bento box ??
Every time we visit this restaurant, it’s one of the best experiences we have. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food are all wonderful. I highly recommend it!
