The food is amazing but the customer service could be way better. After placing a phone order I asked for extra gravy sauce because it pairs perfectly with the rice and peas. I asked for extra gravy twice and she said okay you got it, on the phone. Once I arrived they then told me they didn’t have any gravy and couldn’t help me and that it was nothing else they could do. No discount. No solution. Nothing. I just wish I would have known before driving all that way and paying but the food is 10/10.
We bought the curry goat and the stew chicken, BAD IDEA. We could tell as soon as we opened the package the food wasn 't done right. The curry was full of water and had an unappealing greenish tint to it, the stew chicken was more like boiled chicken in ketchup sauce and neither meat tasted properly seasoned. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. Restaurant looks clean and lively. Curry goat was watered down and very bland as was the stew chicken (more like boiled chicken). Rice and peas was okay (just). Very disappointed, I was looking to have a tasty Jamaican meal, sad to say there was nothing Jamaican about the quality and taste of the food. Ended up having to throw away half of the food. If you're going to represent jamaica atleast season the food to show.
I love going to this Negril in Laurel. I am always greeted with a smile. The cashier, Keisha was very friendly and helped me out my selection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you Kay for your service with a smile ????

After trying Caribbean food from different spots in Florida, including authentic Jamaican cuisine, I can honestly say that the food is decent. There's nothing exceptional to rave about, but there's also nothing negative to criticize.
The escovich fish sandwich was amazing! Cocoa bread, beef patties, oxtail. I could eat every day. Hands down, The best island cuisine around!
