Nice big restaurant with good outdoor seating area. The front of house guy was great at confirming the menu and acceptance of credit cards then getting us a good table outside on a warm Friday evening. We had walked down Shaftesbury Avenue from the British Museum and the square where the restaurant sits was the first area we came to. We didn’t see anywhere that we would have swapped for as we walked through Chinatown later. We visited late this evening asked at the door if this restaurant was still open for customers, which it was. We were given the menus after about 1 minute were told to hurry up as the kitchen was closing soon. Our food was tasty plentiful but very soon after it arrived the staff started packing up the restaurant stacking chairs on tables, bringing outdoor furniture inside, tying up bags of rubbish etc. A couple of female staff kept staring at us, willing us to hurry up. Soon the only table not stacked away was ours as we were still eating. I gave up on my food as I felt so uncomfortable asked for the bill. We didn't like it... the duck is served on the bone and it's not practical to cut the bone without knives... the sweat and sour chicken tastes very strange, served with a ton of barely cooked onions... the beef with oyster sauce was the best dish but the flavor was not there. Chicken spring rolls without chicken in them with cabbage…. Absolutely not good at all. It was very hot so we asked for a jug of water. If you don't buy a bottle of water, they serve you in plastic glasses and come and fill the glass after eating....In short, I recommend a Korean or Viet restaurant, but this area is too touristy.
I ordered the special fried rice and received a dish that was slimy and had an unpleasant odor. After taking one bite, I realized it had gone bad, despite being purchased just 15 minutes prior. I am concerned about the food safety practices, as it seems the fried rice may have been sitting out for a significant period of time. This should not have been served to customers.

We visited here as many said it was celiac safe gluten free. We was greated by staff that had no knowledge of allergies celiac and when asked they said yes to one thing and then no another time. This made me very uneasy. No options apart from plain rice dish in the end I would not visit again.
Definitely one of the worst Chinese restaurants. Service was terrible, the waiters were rude and the food took a lot to be delivered. They should not get any tip but it was included as mandatory. Never returning again to this terrible place
The service was very slow, the food was fine we had hotpot with the mushroom and tomato soup. the sea weed was not our taste, it was like biting into the ocean. the beef, pak choi and udon noodles were good. It was cold in the basement.
Ugh. It's expensive for cuisine without originality or flavor. Don't forget the service charge French friends... we paid 44 euros for two dishes and 2 beers.
