I placed an order online from New China and paid with my card, as I’ve done many times before. But when the driver arrived, he asked to see my card. Even after showing it, he refused to hand over the food. This was unexpected since none of my previous orders required verifying the card on delivery. Now, I’m stuck waiting 24 hours for a refund even though the payment was already taken from my account, and they won’t deliver what I paid for. I’m done with New China and will look for a restaurant with a better menu and customer service—somewhere the driver is happy to deliver and receive a good tip.
I have been visiting your restaurant for some time now, and lately, I've been coming in for lunch. I was fortunate to be assisted by Keana, who has been outstanding. She pays great attention to my orders and has even memorized them. This is incredibly important for me, as I have limited time for lunch, so not having to repeat my order each time really helps me save a lot of time. The rice lacked the authentic flavor of traditional Chinese cuisine. The dishes were greasy and uninviting, falling far short of genuine Chinese food. The chips were stale, the rice tasteless, and the honey chicken seemed old and unappetizing. The wonton soup was also underwhelming.
The service is warm and inviting, the food is delicious, and I consistently have a fantastic experience whenever I dine at this restaurant.
The egg drop soup at New China is incredible. The chicken wings are the biggest I've ever seen at any restaurant, and they taste amazing.
This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Tampa area! My fiancé and I are huge fans of this place! I would give it 10 stars if I could!
