Very disappointed in New Ho. It seems that no matter where I go for lo mein there was always a problem with the vegetables. The menu should just say vegetable not vegetables. Whenever I order any kind of lo mein I always asked for extra vegetables so this time I just ordered vegetable lo mein with extra vegetables as you can see from the photo the amount of vegetables I received I actually ate two small pieces of broccoli one medium-size one and a few slices of carrots no onions no peppers no baby corn no bok choy no flavor no nothing. I would hate to see what the vegetable looks like with no extra vegetables. Eggrolls are absolutely terrible the wrap is way too thick and they're only filled...
I’d make it 5 stars, but we’ve told them three times now that their website and Beyond Menu show us not in their delivery area. We’ve been ordering delivery through the web for a year now. It suddenly changed it’s a glitch, they say they didn’t change their delivery zone) and they haven’t fixed it.Aside from this, their food is excellent and fast. The folks on the phone are very nice but they must stand 6 inches from each other because it’s so loud that placing a phone order is a miserable experience. Hence the wish the web ordering was FIXED!
My first and last time ordering here. I ate nothing and totally threw away $40. The General TSO was overcooked and hard, the pork fried rice had an old taste and smell to it. The jumbo shrimp tasted old and overcooked, even the shrimp roll was disgusting! Now how do you mess up a shrimp roll? The chicken wings were decent but by far anything to brag about. I tipped the driver $7 for getting out in the cold. I personally will never order from here again!
LOVE THIS PLACE! I drive from Parsippany to eat here every weekend. The Hot and Sour soup is to die for! The General Tso's chicken is crispy and delicious! This is a good place for Chinese takeout. The food is good and well seasoned. I'm amazed how busy they are but service seems fast usually. There were some times when service was backed up but they seem to have improved. There is parking out front but very limited spaces.
The food is sensational. I used to work in Chinatown in NYC HO King is equal to the food in the city. I have been going to Ho King since I was a boy both the old and the new. Their food is marvelous and the best in PL. you won't regret it. Keith
Good food, one of my wife's favorite place to order from. The owner is very nice and the order is pretty fast. It does get crowded during dinner time so order ahead.
this is the only place I will go to for Chinese food always very friendly and the food us always good. Never a problem. But they are closed on tuesdays. Book a table now
