I came to eat in this restaurant by chance. I've been through it. the food is fresh and the kitchen prepared under your eyes. the boss, charming, discreet, friendly welcomes his guests with warmth. its main concern is the well-being of its customers and not to make money. Even if the meal is longer to be served (which is normal since it does everything in front of you: cut the watermelon, prepare the tomato sauce or caramel, etc.), the plates look more like dishes, you will come out there shaved. Moreover, to make you spend the time, there are old but much more historical games than today's plastic joujoux.
Ludwig is an awesome host, he takes time to explain his dishes, speaks fluent English, French, and not sure how many other languages. Service is a bit slow, but everyone is quite prepared to wait, as he does this little Cafe on his own. Coffee is fantastic, Beer always a variety, but his Gallettes are awesome. The cafe is clean, and has wonderful antiques to buy . He is directly opposite the wonderfull patisserie Cygnet in Autumn. A must to try. Great variety of music as well, from Jazz to Classical or pop. Treats all of his guests as the most important people.
In this late Sunday afternoon, we enter by chance in this tiny creperia that turns out to be so grinding. the owner of the premises is both welcoming discreet and very friendly. wide choice of tea and chocolate coffee made home. Sweet snacks are also made home and while waiting for your order you can make part of chess, dominos or simply enjoy the decor and music. A nice parenthesis.
when we strolled through the old town, we discovered this crêperie and since we had starved something we had ever ordered a salty galette (=wheated book). because the owner (?) worked alone, it took a while until he had time for us. but for that, eating was personally freshly prepared and very good. in the coffee you can choose between four sorts.

It is often said that people from the north are generous... Mr Alban shows us well through his kitchen. A greedy and light food at a time, we simply enjoyed it. The place is perfect for a head or for a small committee meal. We feel like we're home. I recommend and come back with pleasure
Popped in here with a lot of friends on a wet Thursday afternoon and somewhat overwhelmed the proprietor. However, he was marvellous - a lovely host, with a very friendly manner. The food was delicious, accompanied by some wonderful, and eclectic, selection of beers. An amazing find!
We had a wonderful wet afternoon chilling out here in this rustic cafe where we were served freshly cooked galettes and crepes. Friendly and helpful chef.
Perfecte groene thee met jasmijn en ook de cappuccino mag er zijn!!Ook de lunchkaart komt zeer aantrekkelijk over. We komen zeker terug.
