We arrived just before closing, approximately 45 minutes prior, and were delighted by the beautifully prepared dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. The chef displayed remarkable skill; this was easily the best sushi I've had in Southeast Michigan. Our server was attentive and genuinely kind, as were the other members of the waitstaff. The food was served with impeccable timing and professionalism. Although we were conscious of the closing time and didn’t linger, we wrapped up our meal about 20 minutes after closing. Our server was incredibly gracious, making us feel like honored guests and welcoming us even after the restaurant had closed.
Saw a lot of good reviews of this restaurant and decide to check it out. Their menu is pretty big especially their appetizers. From all the good reviews, do all the diner realized their foods are lukewarm. I don't understand why. All their food is the same temperature as sushi. I haven't try everything yet but my food was lukewarm. Ika sugatayaki (grill squid), unagi Don (grill eel). Weird, they tasted good but kinda baffles me. Beside that I don't have much complain. Service is nice, food comes out quick and I like their interior decorations.
My husband works in the area and has eaten here a few times with rave reviews, so when he invited me for a lunch date, I was excited. New Yotsuba didn't disappoint the interior is gorgeous. My husband talked fondly about their katsu curry, so I had to try it. The portion size is very generous, and between it and the salad and miso, I have plenty left over for dinner tonight. The katsu was great, but the curry was fantastic; I loved the big chunks of carrot and potato. The lotus root garnish was new to me, but very enjoyable as well!
Service was great, staff was very polite. This place was clean, I love their interior layout. Food was ordered and at our table within just a few minutes of ordering. Sushi tasted perfect, rice and everything was the perfect texture and taste. Everything was so fresh too! Even the avocado rolls! Prices were lower compared to so many other sushi restaurants in my area, I was a bit surprised. Will definitely return again when I'm in that area. Book a table now
On the other hand, the sukiyaki was fantastic—great value for money with a generous portion and plenty of meat. The Agedashi Tofu was a bit on the dry side. Overall, the food quality was excellent, and the service was exceptionally friendly. The menu is well-designed with detailed descriptions and pictures. I recommend trying the Spicy Golden Scallop, Duck Ramen, Gyoza Soup appetizers, and of course, the Sukiyaki.
I haven't visited Yotsuba in over 10 years, but I was delighted to find that it still serves the same amazing food and offers excellent service. During our recent visit, we tried a variety of sushi rolls and appetizers, and everything was delicious, just like the picture shows. The staff was very attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of.
I moved to this area from Chicago and have been looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant for a while and finally found it. Fantastic food, service and presentation with fair pricing. My husband had the squid entree and I had the udon noodles with some rolls to share and everything on the table far exceeded our taste expectations.

Oyako Don [chicken and egg rice bowl] was delicious and hit the spot. This place has been consistently great through the years with great staff. Easy recommend for anyone wanting Japanese cuisine.
