I absolutely loved the Oyster and Baked Alaskan experience at this restaurant. My mom and I visited on a Monday, so we were able to take advantage of the oyster special. The oyster platter that was presented to me was fantastic and truly made it feel like a special experience. For dinner, I tried the burger, which was tasty. For dessert, I ordered the Baked Alaskan and was impressed by how they lit it on fire tableside. It was not only a great show, but it was also delicious! I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant. Keep in mind that parking can be tricky, and some spots require a $50 deposit, but the restaurant will validate it for you.

My partner and I, ages 27 and 28, had heard great things about the oysters at this restaurant and now we understand why! We were able to make a last-minute reservation a week in advance and were lucky to secure a late time slot for a Saturday night at 8:45pm. We arrived early, enjoyed a drink across the street, and were called back to be seated at 8:30pm. The decor perfectly matched the theme and vibe of the place, with beautiful greenery and salted wood. We were impressed right away. As we looked over the menu and started to order, we couldn't wait to try the oysters.

NICO has quickly become my go-to restaurant in Charleston. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We arrived later in the evening to find the restaurant bustling but not overly crowded. Our group started with a dozen oysters that were incredibly fresh. For my main course, I opted for the sea scallops, which were hands down the best I have ever had. We ended our meal with the delightful baked alaska and creamy creme brulee. The baked alaska was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend NICO to anyone visiting Charleston.

Overall: For a higher end seafood experience, it doesn't get much better than this. The good: Everything we had was incredible. Started with the oysters, which were fresh and paired with the standards as well as a very hot house made hot sauce . Also had the baked cheese, which tasted like it was straight from France so many different flavors of honey, garlic, and pine nuts on baked goodness. Next was the octopus, which was charred *just* right, had great flavor, and Book a table now

The food was delicious that is undeniable. What made me give it four stars was the service provided by the waitress. She wasn?t very communicative about the daily specials or cocktails. She was also directing all the answers and questions to my boyfriend like I wasn?t there. Rude on her part. They also need to tight up a little the restrooms. Such a nice and expensive restaurant should have clean and presentable restrooms. Besides that I would come again to this

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Nicos. The appetizers were tasty, especially the raw oysters. The drinks were strong, but took a while to be served. We ended up ordering a second round that arrived after we had finished our meal. The main courses were mediocre, with some dishes being too salty and others not justifying their price. However, the flounder dish was exceptional. The dessert was delicious. Overall, I don't think we would return to this restaurant.

Our favorite dinner of our trip. The place is upscale, but not fussy or pretentious. Service was friendly and not overbearing. Food was awesome! We had cheese puffs and oysters to start. Then my husband had the steak frites and I had the tomato salad. Wish I?d ordered more food, but good news was I had a lot of room for two incredible desserts. We will definitely return.

Nico is absolutely delicious. Who can resist a blend of seafood and French cuisine? The ambiance is stunning, the service is top-notch, and, most importantly, the food is phenomenal! Their wine selection is also impressive. Be sure to book your table in advance, as this place gets crowded!
