A cold and wet Friday evening, and a touch of indecisiveness led us here. The place was busy with hungry diners just like myself, looking for something to warm the soul on such an evening. This place I must say, is a let down. The food was average at best. I understand that it's one of those fast serving food establishments, but the taste was simply non existent. I ordered their vege Laksa, but what it ended up tasting like was more like noodles and veges fighting for dear life in what looks like creamy curry type sauce liquid thingy, but tasting more like heated up straight out of the can coconut milk. I have already gone two Mondays followed by the Mad Monday, you can ask almost any dish by 8.9 dollars. The first time I went pediing a pad is EW with shrimp and it was delicious. The second time I played with a Pork Satay with Hokkien Noodles and it was also very rich, except that they put too much Satay sauce. The bad thing about the place is that it is very small but the portions are very large and very tasty. You can also put together your own plate by choosing the NOODLE type, the type of sauce and the protein as you want.
Been here a couple times I'm still loving their stir fried noodles! Especially the spicy ones are on point! Only thing is that the price is a little higher than the other food in this area. I guess their lunch deals are more worthy.
Ordered take away for dinner. The spring rolls and chicken satay were good. Instead of a peanut dipping sauce for the satay, it was already on the chicken. The pad kee mao was not my favorite.
