The service was satisfactory and the menu selection was good. The Gyoza was absolutely delicious - it was hot, fresh, and tasty. However, the nasi goreng was disappointing. It seemed to have outdated ingredients that gave it a fridge-like taste. It appears that the restaurant may need to improve their food storage procedures, especially with the rice, which can absorb other odors if not stored properly. Fresh vegetables are essential for this dish as well. Despite this, I believe they have the potential to do better and I will give them another chance when I am back in town.
I went with friends while passing through Mackay. The entree's, spring rolls and prawns were good. We also ordered chicken and corn soup. It was very watery. Mains were combination fried rice which was great; Singapore noodles good just a little spicier than I'm used to; and combination noodles. Very generous serves, good service and clean restaurant.
What a terrible place, the staff spoke very little English and the food was outrageously overpriced. After being told it was good by a friend, even after seeing the small portions I chose to order two as it should be good. AWFUL decision I have never tasted such sugary, sweet and vile Chinese in my life. AVOID this place.
We cane here as the previous reviewers had been so impressed. Unfortunately we found the staff incredibly rude and the Pho was very average with cut up roast beef in it not the proper thin beef which cooks in the broth. Disappointing.
