Hangry as hell so made a quick search for best Pozole soup near me, because that's what I thought by chance on my trusted Yelp app and Nopal was up on the list! They make a tasteful and hearty red pozole soup with generous amounts of delicate meat and hominy too! Also ordered a regular sopis that came with a good make-up of fresh fried beans, shredded salad, tomatoes, avocado, cojito cheese and cream and it was the perfect accompaniment to the soup! Tried her horchata and sad it wasn't as tasty as I hoped it would be, but loved that it wasn't stealing sweet as well! I had a fantastic time at this charming little restaurant! The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious, all at great prices. The staff and owner were exceptionally welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, the food quality and friendly atmosphere were excellent! I highly recommend it!
I tried Nopal for the first time last night. The carne asada and Bistec Encebollado were both quite tasty. However, I was let down by the pupusas revueltas; they mostly had cheese, with only a few pieces of meat and beans. I’ve decided not to order that dish again.
The portions are incredibly generous, the staff are attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. You'll find yourself full after just half of your meal, knowing that another fantastic dish awaits you!

Nopal offers the best authentic Mexican food on Long Island, and as someone who works in construction throughout the area, I can say that with confidence! Their menu is exceptional.
Really fresh and loaded tacos. The vibes are good. Every time Ive gone theres always people there, vibing out. Takes a bit for the food to come out but not really an issue for me.
