I stumbled upon this restaurant in a tucked away location with a charming and balanced atmosphere. I decided to visit for brunch as soon as they opened at 11AM. Luckily, I was one of the few customers there at the time. I ordered the steak and eggs, both of which were absolutely perfect! The steak had just the right mix of fat and meat for a morning meal, and the sauce was delicious – I couldn't resist spreading it on everything. The eggs complemented the steak wonderfully with their creamy flavor. The real surprise for me, however, was the potatoes. Loved the atmosphere and decor inside, loved the many vegetarian options on the menu even more. Staff was nice, quick enough and available. Also, kind of place where a long moustache dude with a white tanktop and full body tatoo just belongs. And that, I like and I want to think is very LA. Will return in this area and to this restaurant. Continue the great work!
One of the best brunches in LA. The fried chicken sandwich is the best in LA. The garlic herb fries are perfectly balanced and cooked. Also, any of the sweet breakfast options like the monkey bread or corn bread are out of this world. The avocado toast with a side of their creamy scrambled eggs is my favorite avocado toast in LA.
Amazing atmosphere, delicious food. I absolutely loved this place and I would go back in a heartbeat! I might not recommend sitting at the bar (the service is slower and inconsistent), but I would recommend the cornbread, the heirloom tomatoes and the scallops. All fantastic dishes!!
