This chain food place is off the main square. We went there only because my husband was lured there by their oysters. Be aware! There is tricky serving! Learn from our experience, always ask if you are not sure about the price/weight. Or you would...fall into the trap as we did. Food: My husband ordered a dozen oysters. Fresh with lemon. I ordered Div.Meeresfrüchte (fruit de mer/seafood salad) mentioned on the menu . So naturely I thought one dish would weigh and I'd pay for that. It also turned out to be in a small plate. the restauramt belongs to the widespread North Sea chain, so they know in advance what to expect. as the name North Sea (nordsee) indicates, it is a fish restaurant. they can either order complete menus, but we usually prefer their fish and chips in a box....Not expensive (you can compose a meal for eiuros) and good quality. the restaurant in the protective street also has an outdoor seating area, from where you can also see the local street life.
for more than thirty years I love myself at North Sea. they have fantastic products with many choices and different flavors. they can always choose either many or fried. also, as a side order, they are the choice of roasted potato or potato salad. these. will differ a lot in calorie, but would get the taste. North Sea is always my target.
Read somewhere that a stop at Nordsee is a must in Germany. Like everything else in Germany, you can't fault the food, appearance of the facility or speed of service. But the food isn't worth a special stop. By all means go there if you...are nearby, otherwise skip it.
