The restaurant review is as follows: The website itself is stunning! It is a large green area with a peaceful and relaxing space for walking, a playground for children, a museum showcasing the rich history of the site and the family who lived there for generations, and a cafe serving delicious cake. We spent 4 hours exploring the area, including the museum and garden (which is 400m away over a bridge). Due to the time of year, the flowers were not in full bloom, so we plan to visit again in June. The receptionist and Paul, who opened the garden gate for us, were very friendly and helpful. The woman who explained the garden to us was also fantastic. We paid £22 for two adult tickets, but ther...

We had a fantastic afternoon at this restaurant. The spacious surroundings were absolutely gorgeous, and the guided tour was enjoyable, informative, and funny for both adults and kids. The gardens were stunning, with a wide variety of plants, shrubs, and fruits that can grow well in the UK. The 400m walk was worth it, especially when the extensive row of roses blooms. Two exhibition spaces provided interesting insights into the history of the area and the people who once inhabited it. The cafe offered affordable prices and the food and service were top-notch. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Cafe is part of the Priory Museum. Only called in as it was a free day as part of Heritage Week. Having said that what a great day out. The cafe was well attended which gives you some idea of the standard. It is only a cafe so cannot expect a big variety of food but what was on offer was good. The staff were very helpful and I noted it had five star rating for cleanliness. Museum well worth a visit. Walled garden has also got a small outdoor tea room which is worth a visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit yesterday. The museum was very well laid out and informative. The view of the priory ruins was excellent and the walled gardens were beautiful. We had a light lunch in the café and couldn't find any faults with the whole place.

I visited Norton Priory for the xmas fair in 2017 and it was a great event, we visited the xmas fair first and bought a few gifts from the stalls, afterwards we had a walk around the gardens and museum and it was a great day.

Excellent café with friendly staff. Indoor and outside seating. We always stop off there when dog walking and sit outside to enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
