Despite the lack of vegetarian options, we decided to order a steak and ale pie and a baked potato with cheese. The pie came with mashed potatoes, which seemed to be from a packet mix, rather than fresh. The pie was dry and lacked filling, the peas were overcooked, and the gravy was lumpy with a thick skin on top. My wife's baked potato was extremely small and had very little cheese. Both meals were served cold.

I was disappointed that the promised free fizz drink for Mother's Day was not provided. Additionally, despite asking for my steak to be cooked medium, it came out well done and dry. After sending it back, I received another steak that still did not meet my request. The quality of their steaks is poor and they seem to struggle with cooking them correctly. The chips were frozen and unappetizing, while the peas were cheap and unpleasant. This was my third visit to this restaurant and each time has been disappointing. I will not be returning again, regardless of any renovations they may make to the exterior. They need to focus on improving the skills of their cooks.
I have visited this restaurant several times recently and have not had to wait long for my meals. The service was reasonable and able to accommodate a group of 14 people without making us wait long for our food. We all received our meals at the same time and enjoyed them. I have been back since with my sister and found that there was plenty of food on the plate. The menu offers a good variety of choices and the prices are reasonable. Overall, I have had a positive experience at this restaurant.
I am not to keen on The Nosey Parker, due to many times i have been in their they dont have the food you order and can sometimes go through 5 things on their menu to find they cant produce it. The staff are friendly and always seem to be embarrased at the lack of food they have. When they have food its good and nice and hot, but its catch a main dish and desert they have in stock.

I heard mixed reviews about this place but i didnt have a problem myself.. Got served and took 20minutes to get my meal which i thought was good for the money.. My only negative point is that they forgot 2 of the 14 people that ate with us, orders and that the place was a little scruffy.
2 roast beef dinners, poor quality, cold food. Mentioned to waitress who offered to replace with a hot meal. 1 mixed grill skillet, tasty, hot and succulent. We are returning patrons but the good was definitely not up to the usual standard.
Went here for the flaming challenge burger and was told they had none in. ************ it's a burger, can these places not even make a burger. The food I ended up having was ok though. Mixed Grill.
Great experience, the food was very tasty and served quickly. All the staff were very friendly, especially Emma who was a delight. Will be coming again.
