Lovely surroundings, they have made a really stylish restaurant and everything has been done to a very high standard. The food was good however we were really disappointed by the level of service. We sat upstairs where there are three large round tables. Unfortunately the waiter was unable to get between the tables being so close together. Instead he was sometimes having to circumnavigate the top floor to come in from another doorway. Likewise they were placing plates on windowsills. We asked for some table water but it did not arrive. We were left for 40 minutes with empty plates having finished our main course. In the end I had to go downstairs and remind the staff that we were not being a...
Very noisy party in house, no that can't be helped but it does spoil your occasion but over cooking fish on a fire pit grill can be avoided and should be at the price charged. so noisy guests not good food and a £74.00 bill for 2 people with only one glass of wine and a non alcoholic beer just says we may go back for coffee as the décor is lovely, but dinner? No way.
They did not have a record of our reservation when we arrived however they promptly found us a table. Food was great, portions are big and service was good. Will definitely go back.
Really enjoyed our breakfast there albeit we all felt the bacon was a little too salty and the scrambled egg over cooked. Nice setting and friendly staff
