We booked this hotel only to arrive to find we had been given a second floor room but due to having a hip replacement I can’t manage the stairs.... then to be told the lift was out off order. When I booked the hotel I did request lower floor to booking.com and the hotel. Really upsetting as it’s been a bad year for me I am just getting over kidney cancer so just the travelling as taken it’s toll on me., We booked because it’s our 33rd wedding anniversary and researching hotels we choose this hotel. Beautiful and spotlessly clean hotel. Has absolutely everything (and more) you need for a very comfortable stay. Comfy bed, quality bedding and towels and even dressing gowns and slippers. Excellent bathroom with whirlpool bath and powerful shower. Owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The communal areas are very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was good but only drawback for us was that it was between 7am and 9am which on a weekend is unfortunate too early. Portion size of cooked breakfast was enough for me but not for my partner e.g. meat wise consisted of 2 rashes of bacon and 1 sausage. Having said that, you could also have continental as well. Back again to this lovely hotel, we like that every room is so different, the owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. This small hotel has a lift from the ground floor so it makes it accessible for people in wheelchairs or with sticks, or like us getting on in years. Breakfast is always made to order and there is always a good choice We are only a two minute walk from the tram stop into Blackpool itself which makes for easy movement around. We would highly recommend it here.
I added a review earlier today in which I commented on a few matters about our stay at the above hotel and the reaction of the man we spoke to about this. I have just had a phone call to apologise for his reaction this morning and to explain that he was not really with it as he was jet lagged. He has also taken on board our comments and is taking action to sort out the problems we mentioned. I am happy with that, thank you

I ate here as part of a business group of about 20 people It was very very good The menu choice for our event was limited to a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts (by choice) but it did have great variety and offered something for everyone and at exceptional value as well. Staff were really great friendly and courteous as well as efficient Definitely recommend if you are in Blackpool I will go back...
Everything was great, all the small details had been thought about, beautiful rooms, the most lovely staff, so comfortable and just a lovely hotel which I cannot wait to go back to. The only thing I would change is the breakfast times to be open until 10am but that’s it. Thank you for a perfect stay x
Friendly atmosphere, Thanks Janet Graham Mark and Victoria for making the stay great. Sorry we had to leave early as husband became ill. Would return back to the hotel with no hesitations. Thank you Mark for sorting the bed out for us. Breakfasts where great and always a bundle of laughs everyday.
Came here once again for our usual Christmas meal with our friends. The service, freshly prepared food and banter from the owners is amazing, they make you feel so valued, thank you number one we will be back.
