O Sole Mio - Table reservation

Last week my husband, our 3 year old daughter, and I decided to stop by for a quick dinner at this restaurant. We arrived at 6:30pm and the place was fairly busy at the main floor. We were offered to come upstairs as there was more...room there. This upstairs/2nd floor was completely empty. No customers. The waitress proceeded with offering us the window table (she could close the big open window since we do have a 3 year old with us), or optionally, she suggested the corner, far left table. We asked why in a completely empty room, without any reserved tables, we couldn 't pick our own, small table for 3 people, out of 10+ tables which were completely free? Most Americans expectations of Italian restaurants are based on Italian American food, the New York style Italian cuisine. While it is pleasant, it is not the same as European Italian food. This little Italian restaurant is disappointing even by basic standards. The quality of the...service, food, and overall experience was subpar. The one positive about this place is that it is inexpensive. So if you’re looking for a quick bite, are not to demanding, and on a small budget, this could do the job. There are many excellent restaurants in konstanz, try them out before this one.

to say nothing special about eating. Just okay. the location is good. the waitress was really nice. but if they are looking for an amazing pizza, this is not the place. the artichokes were a little strange, but. kinda sour.

delicious pizza and risotto! we always eat there when we go shopping. I like this place. I could recommend this restaurant.

only average eating, taste is ok, friendly witness probably for lunch a good choice, but not for dinner
