This is the personnel mensa of the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), a large research centre employing thousands. However, it is open access - you may eat here even if you have nothing to do with PSI, paying the same price. They offer several fixed menus as self-service (tray and pay) but also a "business lunch" menu - with table service. The quality of the food has nothing to envy to that of most restaurants in the region, the prices however are much lower (around 10 to 25 CHF). Only snag - it is closed in weekends and after 8 pm. This place is a canteen of quality in a very nice building. The employees were quite friendly and some of them speak english. I recommend this place when working at PSI but the opening hours have to be check especially during the weekend.
