This restaurant operates with impressive efficiency. We visited on a Friday night, and it seemed like the B.G.H.S. Football game had just ended because the place was packed. The service was quick and attentive. We ordered a chocolate malt and pumpkin ice cream, and opted to dine in. While we were chatting, suddenly a group of about 12 to 14 kids rushed in, laughing. A few minutes later, we noticed several squad cars, a fire truck, and an ambulance outside. Apparently, one of the girls got hit while they were running across the street. I didn't see any coverage about it in the news. Sorry for getting sidetracked. Overall, the experience was quite enjoyable.
I went out shopping with my friends and decided to stop by Oberweis Dairy for a good time, or so I hoped... They messed up my name terribly, and when it was finally my turn to order, I asked the cashier to ensure that my brownie was warm since it had been cold the last time I visited. When I received my brownie, it was as hard as a rock, and my spoon actually broke. I couldn't enjoy it at all and ended up not finishing it. I'm really disappointed; this used to be one of the best places for ice cream. Not anymore.
Disappointed with the service. I purchased two bottles of Milk first time at the store. One bottle was totally spoiled. The staff was also strange and they were requesting a tip for buying a milk. If it is for a milkshake or ice cream, adding a tip is understandable but, buying a milk bottle I don’t think so. It was very bad experience with the service as well as the quality of the milk.
Ice cream has the power to lift your spirits at any moment, and this place is a dream come true for ice cream enthusiasts. In my opinion, it’s the best ice cream parlor in Chicago. Their birthday cake and espresso caramel flavors are my all-time favorites. Plus, their shakes are absolutely fantastic. It’s a family-friendly spot, and they also offer free parking.

The store isn’t prepared to assist people with allergies at all! As according to the staff, everything is cross contaminated with nuts, so you cannot get nut free frozen desserts, or they just door dash the products to the store but you have the wait
Best ice cream in the area. Daily made waffle cones. Fresh fudge, tons of different chocolates and caramel candy. All very good. Flavors change with the season. Enjoy the ice cream there and take the rest home.
The ice cream is tasty, but the prices are unfair for the average portion sizes. On top of that, they expect a tip? What kind of service justifies that? Haha!
I always have a wonderful time at this restaurant. I absolutely love their ice cream—it's incredibly delicious!
