I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel.
whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood.
I was hoping the food would be really great considering that the restaurant recently won an award for the best new restaurant in SF. I found the starters to be much better than the starters and the overall food was a little over salted for my range. The tangerine beer I had was great! The staff was also very friendly.

The drinks were good. Menu is limited. One person did not like the pork. The other thought the short pastrami ribs were fat and of no value. The burger was good. Though very energetic, it's not really a place for $ 30 starters - much looser. Stick with the burger and a cocktail or beer.
Service and food both excellent. The seating area is quite small, but not overcrowded. The menu offers an interesting selection of sophisticated dishes. We didn't try beer because we were seduced by the very extensive and creative cocktail menu. Definitely a gem.
Excellent selection of beers, reliably delicious food and great service. If you don't have a reservation, it's usually easy to secure a seat at the bar for a full dining service. A neighborhood favorite.
The ambience and the service were really great. I thought the menu items were unique compared to other similar restaurants, which I appreciated. However, nobody knocked my socks off.

The hamburger was great, but no warning that it is a small hamburger. It would have been good to know this in advance to order more food.
