When you're tired of Thanksgiving food, or just craving bomb sushi, then I've got the place for you! Octopus (located in Glendale Burbank) is a Japanese restaurant serving up fresh seafood, meats, and produce. It's a casual and fun vibe, but the dishes are high end (I mean look at the presentation of this Yellowtail Sashimi). During this visit, our waiter, Enrico, was quite judgmental. He made snarky comments about everything we ordered. For instance, when my husband ordered California rolls, he said it wasn't enough food for him, and when I placed my order, he commented that my husband would probably help me finish my meal. These offhand remarks felt inappropriate and disheartening. In the end, we left a modest tip of $25, which is far less than he deserves.

Excellent service? Check! Great happy hour prices? Check! Convenient parking right across the street? Check! I tried several rolls from the happy hour menu, and we kept enjoying them in a never-ending cycle. It felt almost like NASCAR! Speaking of which, I ordered the Rose Roll and it was amazing. The explosion of flavor had me feeling like I had just taken a wild ride around the track—my taste buds were completely blown away! Unfortunately, my experience was so intense that I might need to send get-well soon letters to Glendale Memorial Hospital, room 269, because I don't think I’ll be recovering from this culinary adventure anytime soon. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

It was ok. Inside is spacious, plenty of seating. I prefer the booth tables. TV over the bar and another over the seating area. We ordered a few rolls. They were pretty good. Didn't get to try the sashimi this time. The rolls come with some fried onions but they didn't taste fresh. Could do without those. Prices were very reasonable though. They also have some happy hour specials. Overall it's decent spot. I'd come back for some rolls and beer and sake. Service was good. Friendly staff. There's easy parking in the pay structure for the shopping center. First 90 minutes was free.
First time coming here with my wife as this is her and her sister's goto place for Bento Box!! The wait staff were very friendly. They greeted us and sat down with the family, and instantly assisted us on how to pull up their digital menu. We happen to be there at happy hour. So most of the starters came with discounas well as main dishes. My wife ordered the Bento box. My daughter ordered the kids Bento box. And I ordered a spicy crunchy tuna roll with jalapenos. The food was excellent. The service was mirrored and we all left full and planning my next visit.
I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance a week ago, and I have to say, the customer service was outstanding. However, it wasn't really my scene—I prefer a more laid-back atmosphere where I’m not constantly trying to get the attention of the staff or waiting desperately for my food. Because of that, I don't think I'll be going back. I gave it 3 stars because the sushi was decent—not amazing, but certainly better than store-bought options. Additionally, I found their push to rename the street to Artsakh to be quite cringeworthy. That's all I have to say.
Top tier sushi, top tier service! Everything was delicious! Not pictured is the garlic edamame and spicy tuna over crispy rice. Daniel was our waiter and I can't say enough good things about him. So kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. He was so patient and truly took the time to tell us his favorites and best sellers. Everything was high quality and the wait time was quick. The inside is your standard sushi spot with tables and chairs. There's no parking out front but a parking structure across the street. I can't wait to come back again! 10/10 vibes

This location has zero customer service. I called to add spicy mayo and ginger to my order. I asked the server to please add my card. He said he cannot because that's fraud (rolls eyes) so he tells me to call Postmates. He doesn't have the number to postmates. I asked him to please do something as I want spicy mayo and ginger. What can you do for me. I'm the last customer to order. Nope. This guy said his manager is very strict. So I basically begged for condiments (2 of each) and was shut down.
Ordered to go here via DoorDash. The sushi was decent and fresh. Their lion king roll is unique it is not a baked salmon roll which I am use to. Would recommend
