We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight and immediately added it to our list of favorites. The chicken and goat dishes, as well as the beef samosas, were halal! The atmosphere was inviting, featuring comfortable seating, elegant white tablecloths, friendly staff, and a knowledgeable chef/owner! We even had the opportunity to chat with the owner afterward, who gave us recommendations for our next visit, particularly the peanut chicken. The food was both delicious and unique. We enjoyed beef and potato stuffed samosas, goat stew with okapi rice, grilled whole branzino with a side of kwanga, and finished with beignets and ice cream for dessert. The kwanga, made from cassava, has a...

Everything was zabiha-halal, which is a challenge for us to find! The food was delicious, and you could really taste the love that went into preparing it. The highlight, though, were the beignets! Our 6-year-old devoured them and loved them so much that Audrey surprised her with a few extras to take home. She was absolutely thrilled! Audrey was fantastic at explaining each dish, as it was our first experience with Congolese cuisine, and she helped us make our selections. We ended up trying everything on the menu! She was extremely kind, patient, and provided us with wonderful service, always with a smile. With a beautiful atmosphere, delicious fresh halal meals, and a family-friendly vibe, t...

We were invited by a friend from Congo, and although I was feeling tired and reluctant to go, I didn't want to let them down. I am so glad I went—otherwise, I would have missed out on some of the best food I've enjoyed at a restaurant in years. Every dish burst with flavor, and the bold seasonings made each one exceptional. The owner was very kind and attentive, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. It had been a while since I'd had goat stew, and every bite transported me back home. As someone from Puerto Rico, I found a lot of similarities in our cuisines, likely due to our shared African ancestry. I can’t wait to return and explore the rest of the menu. I highly recommend this place!

The food was both delicious and unique. We enjoyed beef and potato stuffed samosas, Goat Stew served with Okapi Rice, grilled whole Branzino with a side of Kwanga, and we couldn't resist the beignets with ice cream for dessert. The Kwanga, made from starchy cassava, may not have much flavor on its own, but it paired wonderfully with the grilled fish and Goat Stew. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning to try even more dishes! Book a table now

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my family, and we were thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, truly embodying the warm “family” atmosphere highlighted on their website. I highly recommend checking out this local gem—you won’t be disappointed! And make sure to save room for the beignets at the end! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner
