Came here for Mother's day brunch and was pretty disappointed. We did wait which is understandable because it was mother's day and they sat us right around the time they said they were. Unfortunately the building is super outdated, with the floor superdirty, dirty walls and musty smell in the air. The server was very young and really didn't seem to care for being there, he didhowever get our order correct and was attentive. The coffee had no flavor, and the rest of the food was bland as well, the hashbrowns were dry, the bacon was gross. My husband had a chicken fried steak and he said the meat tasted weird. This is a really great place I enjoy going as I go quite a bit either it be during the week or on the weekends. I've gotten to know a lot of the management staff and the waitresses and they're all very family friendly makes you feel like you're at home. And everything I've ever ordered has always been top notch. So if you're looking for a great place maybe for the first time, or just the place to have a business meeting or just kick back and relax with your family on a regular basis I would recommend it be here.
One star because the service, staff and atmosphere were all great! The food was very lack luster. Pancakes were dry and cool, eggs were not fresh cracked eggs (liquid eggs which I hate! , sausage patties looked like they were cooked yesterday and the fried potatoes &onions were from frozen and dry...not an onion in sight. Friendly good service had a wonderful breakfast with my daughter. They was packed but they got us seated quickly. My waitress was sweet my food taste yummy. Huge portions I ate it for breakfast lunch and dinner. Prices our amazing!Food: 5/5

Second time to Ft. Worth for the FWSSR and this is second time here. MUST stop. Live the old days feel, GREAT HOT homemade food. Service is great also!
