Old Farmhouse Hungry Horse

Visited the old farmhouse on Wednesday day time, it was busier than usual but with it being half term it’s what we expected. A lovely lady (all and had dark ginger hair greeted us with a smile and asked if we had made a booking which we hadn’t, she had a quick look around the restaurant and said there’s a table at the back which she will have to wipe over quickly before we can sit down. She did that, then got a cutlery bucket and took us to be seated. She said that there was unfortunately no fish or halloumi on the menu today, which didn’t bother us and said that when we are ready to order we could either use the app or come to the bar to do our order. Went into the farmhouse today. We had a great meal and the two members of staff on (Billy and Hollie) were a delight. I will say they had a unexpected large booking turn up to an already busy, almost full restaurant and they both handled it amazingly, despite them running around taking food and drinks to tables, taking orders and keeping the place all up together and tidy they were so polite, friendly and accommodating to us. Because of them we will definitely be returning. Thank you Hollie and Billy!!

yesterday afternoon it was really busy with tables and only 2 employees, on which really was not enough to get the crowd in there. they made it easy, though and did everything brilliantly hate away, they are a credit for the team. Eating was good and shy, there was no fish, but we had an alternative. will come back

About food... can't remember when last time I was served so delicious course we'll done for the chefs very nice and welcoming team. Beautiful pub. For sure will be back soon
