What a treasure this place is from the warm welcome you get from the lovely owners to the overall dining experience. It really is such a beautiful place and the food is outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed both of our dinners here, the Cullen Skink is a must try as is the Rack of Lamb and the Venison. The chef produces lovely food to a very high standard and the wine list is superb too. We went with our two sons and their partners and everyone had such a lovely meal and a great night on both occasions. What I liked the most was the friendliness of the staff and owners who made us the most welcome and even offered to give us a lift! Very friendly. We can't wait to come back and wish you every succ...

Came here for evening meal on recommendation and were lucky to be able to get a spare table on a Sunday night. The reception and service was lovely with a very full restaurant. The wine choice was very good and started around 22 and upwards....We ordered a starter of scallops and haggis then lamb and venison for main course with vegetables and a bottle of Malbec. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals I have had this year. I did find I had to send back the first scallop dish as it was too salty, but it was immediately replaced with a lovely tasting dish and the chef came out to thank me for the feedback so all was good. It is not cheap 100 for 2. It was so good we have r...
Visited here for lunch, on a brief stop in Arisaig. Very quaint little restaurant, and very nice lunch. We were also made to feel very welcome by the owner. After paying the bill, and just walking out of the door, I was called back by...the owner, who I’d mistakenly overpaid by £10. I hadn’t realised, but it was very honest of her to point out my mistake. Would highly recommend to anyone passing by this lovely little village.
Visited with friends and had an amazing lunch. Excellent, friendly service from the team. The food was great. Tasting, simply very well done. Highly recommended and will be back for sure. AND David very kindly gave us a lift back to our accommodation after we had been joined by a bottle of wine. Book a table now
Stayed for three nights last week. We had a lovely room overlooking the loch and marina. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. Best thing of all, the food. It was amazing. Can't wait to return
Just recently home from Arisaig and as usual we popped into the Old Library for dinner one night. The food was delicious, the venison and black pudding bonbons were mmm mmm. Penny and David were the perfect hosts and we look forward to seeing them again next year
A really nice place in a lovely little village. The staff was very friendly, the place was full of character and the food was great. This was my second visit to this restaurant, no hesitation 10 out of 10 for both visits.
Lovely spot with great views over the Sound of Arisaig. Room was very comfortable, staff friendly and welcoming and food good. Only stayed one night as en route to islands, but would definitely stay again if in the area. Book a table now
Beautiful locally sourced menu. Eaten here both nights on my stay in Arisaig and it didn't disappoint. Lovely, friendly family run business. Highly recommended.

"Liver and onions was creamy and tasty. This is a quiet small hotel restaurant and a very nice menu. The sticky toffee pudding was unfortunately store bought and just average but enjoy the main course."

"Very poor quality food. My two children couldn’t eat anything of the very limited offer on “curry only” night, sadly reminiscent of school dinners!"
