Very very quick service, we arrived a little early and were seated very quick. Starters and Mains were served and cleared within half an hour! Good if you were wanting a quick bite to eat, if out for a relaxed evening may have felt a little rushed. Mains could have been a little hotter and it was only warm, however the food tasted good! Great service and food tasted excellent. Would have been nice to be seated in the restaurant as the bar area was very loud, especially as we were after a relaxing dinner out, understandably though if they weren’t too busy would have made sense not to have opened the restaurant. Will probably return in the future, just hope the mains will be hotter! Thank you!
We enjoyed a mixture of creative food and traditional fare all of which was excellent. A good wine menu with it. The atmosphere is casual a bar downstairs and some tables upstairs. We were just into the autumn/winter season, and so the choice was slightly more limited than the busier summer season but still plenty of great things to try. We spent a relaxed couple of hours or so and would happily recommend if you enjoy a mix of creative/traditional food. We felt the prices were good value for the food we enjoyed. Its a little off the beaten track but worth the effort, in our opinion.
The food at this restaurant was simply divine. The flavors were out of this world and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a wonderful setting. You will not be disappointed!
I had an amazing time at Old School Bar and Kitchen! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. They have a wide variety of drinks and the hot chocolate was especially tasty. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.
