Great local grocery and eatery. Food is cajun style and the decor is the old style with various signs and pictures. One can sit inside or outside and enjoy a authentic poboy sandwich.
Great service, and a pretty damned good po'boy. Been hearing about it for years and finally made the stop on my way through Lafayette. I had whole Old Tyme Special and I left stuffed.
If we are passing anywhere even remotely close to Lafayette we eat here! Husband graduated from USL name back then . Best poboys in the south!
While all of the po-boys are great, try the “Chief of Staff” there is nothing else like it in the LFT!
