What can I say about the Olive Garden that everyone has not said. I consider the Olive Garden a more fast food Italian sit down restaurant. It's of course a chain and once in a blue moon...you have an inkling to eat their delicious, fresh out the oven, bread sticks and Zappa toscanna soup! I always try their specialty menu when I can or do the all you can eat when they offer it! This round, we tried the baked dishes they offered. I had the Smoked mozzarella shrimp rigatoni and hubby had the Braised Beef Bolognese with Pappardelle. I enjoyed my SMSR as I made a small adjustment and added cayenne to give it a kick. I love goin to fancy places when I have the money. A little treat yanno. Well I usually go to slidell but but I came to this one instead. The waitress rushed me and my husband! She kept it nice but do think I didn't notice when you brought ou r attention to paying within 12 minutes after receiving our order then coming back with my soup and asking if I'd like cheese just walk away then coming back with the check n no cheese, now I wouldn't tip if the economy was better but because of her thinly valed poor attitude she did not receive the full tip had my experience been pleasant. She profiled me, rushed my experience and I would not recommend. Come to slidell. We have more Congeniality.
I haven't been to an Olive Garden in quite a few years, but my wife and I recently stopped at the Covington location for lunch on a weekday. While Olive Garden isn’t strictly Italian, the food—like the salad, soup, chicken parmesan, and those famous breadsticks—reminded me of the comforting meals I enjoyed in the past. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are very reasonable. What stood out the most at this location was the cheerful service and the warm, welcoming environment created by the hostess, our server, and the manager on duty, Bill, who even stopped by our table. It was a noteworthy and appreciated touch. We will definitely be back!
We visited this restaurant and experienced a brief wait, which we assumed was due to being understaffed, as there were many open tables (but this didn’t bother us at all). However, none of the staff seemed affected by it and were exceptionally polite. Our server, Russell, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience, even though he had already worked a long shift. He was also very understanding and gracious when it came to our messy toddler. While the food was decent, it’s the excellent service that will definitely encourage us to come back to this location.

Absolutely terrible! The hostess made fun of my cousin, who has special needs, while we were dining together. When we confronted her about it, she ran to the manager—who she seemed to have a close relationship with. Instead of listening to our side of the story, he threatened to kick us out. Throughout the ordeal, the hostess continued to come by our table and taunt us while the manager just ignored the situation and played on his phone.
I have to admit that I haven't dined at Olive Garden in over six years because I wasn't fond of their food in the past. However, I was pleasantly surprised during my recent visit. The food was quite good, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. We will definitely consider coming back, especially for the chicken marsala, the salad, and the Tuscan soup!
2nd time we went and walked out after sitting for 10 mins with no service. I don't wanna hear bs about short staff. Tons of workers, 3 ladies were at the front desk just chatting. Waitress made eye contact several times, put napkins on the table said she'd be right back.... Never came back to our table. I'll go back when the Saints win another Super Bowl.
Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant. Our family visits about once a week, and everyone loves it. The waitstaff is excellent and well-trained. Donald, in particular, stands out as one of the best. We always feel welcomed from the moment we enter until the end of our meal. For a chain restaurant, this location deserves an A rating!

Overall, it's a typical dining experience! Our server was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We had a few questions about the menu, and she answered everything in a lovely manner. The restaurant has a good amount of space, too! The food was flavorful and served hot. The shrimp appetizer was especially delicious!
